Meet Jordan

Jordan Hurst, MA, LMFT Associate, LPC Associate

Supervised by Dr. Jude Austin, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S

Therapy, for me, is about connection—connecting with yourself, your partner, your story, and what matters most. I became a therapist through my own journey of healing and discovery, shaped by years of work in international development, foster care, spiritual formation, and community building. I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful change begins in safe, attuned relationships.

I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and practice under the supervision of Dr. Jude Austin, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S. My work is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Family Systems approaches. I specialize in couples therapy, male identity and relationships, and families navigating grief, anxiety, identity shifts, cultural transition, addiction, and more.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a sixth-generation Austinite, a long-time musician, and a husband and dad who loves good food, the outdoors, and the creative pulse of this city. I’d be honored to walk with you through whatever season you’re in.
